The Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) is delighted to announce that David Cantwell was awarded The IPPA Royal & SunAlliance Professional Photographer of the Year 2008 at the National Photographic Awards held in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin last night. David’s winning portfolios were also judged the best in the Commercial and Advertising Awards and he was awarded best Single Print in the Classical Portrait and Advertising categories.

This is the 12th year that Royal & SunAlliance has sponsored the National Photographic Awards and touring IPPA Photographic Exhibition.

The IPPA presented Awards in the following categories–
